What is Harriet

Harriet supports female founders as they fundraise for external capital. We act as a bridge between strategic Venture Capital Funds with a focus on bridging the gender gap and female founded companies.

We have two platforms:

The Arbitrage Opportunity

Women are 51% of the world’s population and open almost 40% of all businesses and yet we know they receive less than 3% of funding dollars. At Harriet we believe this presents an enormous opportunity because 97% of all entrepreneurial talent does not reside within men alone. Therefore, it is fair to assume that if entrepreneurial talent is divided equally between men and women that great female founders are untapped. We recognise the face of venture funding is changing – that’s a change we want to be part of.

Our Expertise

Anna Pearson and Tanya Rolfe, are the founders of Harriet. We have worked together in Asia since 2017. Over the last five years through our own start-ups and investment expertise we have developed an extensive network of female founded companies and contacts across Asia (and wider). These are either investee companies we know and trust or companies we have championed, diligenced and supported. We are inundated by female founders who actively seek us out to assist with their funding needs and to provide business expertise. Our founders are looking for diversity for their cap table and board.

Together we have developed the following businesses and investment vehicles in Asia.
